Links to good examples of public Sharepoint sites can be very handy sources of inspiration. Seeing what is out there. Despite the fact that the following sites go a significant way further than simply customising Themes, they should hopefully give you something to think about. There are always elements we can learn from.

The company I work with (Intergen) has some excellent ties with Microsoft and recently we (Michelle, SuperRay and myself) were given the opportunity to quickly design a number of Sharepoint Themes corresponding with some generic concepts (such as Team Site, Events Site, etc). Alongside the default (Blue) Sharepoint template, there are some 13 other bare-bones Themes available as part of Sharepoint out of the box. Knowledge of these can be very useful (which I’ll cover in a later posting specifically). I’ve not found any online resources elsewhere which show visuals of these bundled Themes, so I’ve included some 100% screenshots for you here …
