Despite the fact that the following sites go a significant way further than simply customising Themes, they should hopefully give you something to think about. There are always elements we can learn from.

14 Standard Themes Out of the Box

Alongside the default (Blue) Sharepoint template, there are some 13 other bare-bones Themes available as part of Sharepoint out of the box. Knowledge of these can be very useful (which I’ll cover in a later posting specifically).  I’ve not found any online resources elsewhere which show visuals of these bundled Themes, so I’ve included some 100% screenshots for you here …
